Step 1: oil-based make-up remover

The first step involves to remove the make-up with a specific oil-based makeup remover. In fact, cleansing your face is important for both: to remove all traces of sunlight so that the skin can regenerate at night and to eliminate impurities.
A product that is widely used throughout Korea is All Clean Balm Remover from Heimish, which is a nourishing make-up remover balm.

Step 2: water based cleanser

The second step that closes the so-called basic procedure of double cleansing, which involves cleansing your face with a good natural soap and with a low PH, this step helps to remove any residues of make-up or impurities.
A product like the Green Tea Real Fresh Foam of NEOGEN is ideal. This cleanser is made of green tea leaves, optimal for this step and is suitable for all skin types.

Step 3: peeling

The third step is the exfoliation, it is very important to eliminate dead cells and give new life to the skin. However, we recommend using a gentle exfoliant, because you should be able to use it every day without risking damaging the hydrolipidic film of your skin.
One of the most popular products is Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine, it is  very simple to use because it consists of pre-soaked discs, this facial peeling is very suitable for mature skin.

The step that cannot be missed in the Korean skincare routine: using a toner gives firmness to the skin, regulates the pH, closes the pores and improves skin absorption of the products.
A very suitable toner is Aloe BHA Skin Toner Tonic by Benton, also suitable for removing impurities, blackheads. You will notice the difference in your skin already from the very first application.

Step 5: essence

Step 5 is really interesting and involves skin rehydration through a product called essence.
We recommend Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Intensive Moist that rejuvenates the skin. The contained vitamin B increases the metabolic rate of the epidermis and gives brightness and compactness, the other benefit is that it protects from UV rays.

After a thorough cleaning and a long preparation the moisturiser is a must. There are those who say that according to the Korean beauty ritual this cream should be used twice a day: once in the morning and once in the evening.
It is recommended to use a gel cream for those with dry skin and a rich and moisturising cream for dry and normal skin, such as Cosrx Hyaluronic Hydra Intensive Face Cream that nourishes in depth thanks to hyaluronic acid and Vitamin Tree Water without greasing.

Step 10: sun protection cream

We know how important it is for Korean women to protect their skin from the sun. A sunscreen of at least 30/35 spf PA ++ should be used every day, even in winter because the ultraviolet rays of the sun damage the skin and promote the development of the signs of ageing.
An excellent light and fresh non-sticky cream is that of Neogeon Day-Light Sun Screen.

Putting all the steps of the Korean skincare routine into practice every day may take too much time, but you don't actually need to do all the steps every day. Remember the basic ones, like double cleansing (step 1 and 2) and put the others into practice once, twice or three times a week depending on what your skin needs most.
